Cant test that, as all my printers are Network/Ethernet Based, no USB ones. with providing full read/write access to a virtual disk content. "should" work for a USB printer as well - just may ask for software. You just need to invoke the below command, which will remove VirtualBox along with other relevant files. Note: when you plug in the USB drive, you may get two pop up windows (autorun on drives) One will be for the Virtual Machine, the other will be for windows 7 - if you dont allow the right one it wont show in VM. You can easily uninstall VirtualBox from your Ubuntu machine no matter whether you have installed the application from the Software Center or installed it from a binary package.
Uninstall virtualbox .virtual install#
If you look At this () - My USB drive is now showing - clcik it and the drivers will install ( See Note Below) - before clicking - if you look in My Computer () NO USB drive :crying BUT After ticking () :banana. This action will open a Windows Installer window. I think I should uninstall this and start fresh but when I try to uninstall using apt-get remove virtualbox -purge, I got these results: ananthanananthan-X556UQK sudo apt-get remove virtualbox -purge Reading package lists. Step 7: Then you will be asked whether you still want to uninstall Oracle VM VirtualBox. Then install VMLite Plugin for VirtualBox, load in XPmode as before - Now USB will work. Step 6: Left click Oracle VM VirtualBox to select the program, then right click it and choose Uninstall option from the context menu. Uninstall the Current VMlite, download the two files from that site, the first one is Sun Virtual Box ( 70MB) & VMLite Plugin for VirtualBox, I then went into (my user Name) and dumped the VMlites File (folder) Sun makes a new folder called.

I started from fresh so there wouldn't be problems  Anyway. OK USB DOES work - bit of mucking about, but thats because the current VMLite, still doesn't support USB as it is - SO follow the instructions I posted on the previous post Instructions again ().
